The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Government on project monitoring and implementation Alhaji Usman Ochidi has urged contractors handling Ajaka-Umomi road to hasten the completion of the project.
Hon Ochidi made the Statement recently while monitoring the ongoing road project at Ajaka to Umomi in Igalamela/Odolu, Ofu Local government areas. He said the era where contractors collect money and not execute project is over.
He added that the administration of Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello is focused on meaningful projects and programs that have direct impact on lives of every citizens in the State.
Hon Ochidi appealed to other contractors who collected mobilisation funds to return to site immediately.
Earlier, the TEC engineer, Mr Yoog Gymi promised to complete the project within the stipulated time.
The Special Adviser also visited Oguma Sheria bridge which is under construction and commended the contractors handling the project for good job.
