2019: Assembly Aspirant Enumerate Plans for Olamaboro Constituency

As the race for Olamaboro State Constituency seat in Kogi State House of Assembly hots up, an aspirant for the position, Comrade Bobby Ujah has promised his people quality representation if given the mandate.
He made the commitment public on Wednesday in Ogugu while formally presenting his letter of intent to one of the leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC)  in the area, Dr Eleojo Samuel Abah at his residence.
The aspirant who pledged his resolve to make laws that would impact positively on the lives of the people if given the opportunity, said his plans include ensuring that he used his office to attract development to people at the grassroots.
Comrade Ujah, who was in the area in company of members of his campaign team, noted that part of his plans for Olamaboro State Constituency was to ensure that apart from making laws, the area enjoys better lease of life.
He maintained that he intended to run things differently, a departure from what was obtainable where the people were shortchanged, adding that the area would witness progress with him as legislator representing them in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The Assembly hopeful further revealed his plans to also touch the lives of vulnerable members of the society, including the elderly, women and youths,  through empowerment programmes that would take them out of current socioeconomic predicament.
The aspirant, while acknowledging the experience he has gathered over time having worked with various political office holders, said legislative government was not new to him, but admitted he could not achieve his agenda alone without the involvement of the people.
To him, effective and fair representation was what is ideal for the people, adding that the need of his constituency would be addressed when he secures their mandate.
“I know I cannot do it alone. I want to count on your support and assistance. That is why I am here today,” he told the people.
Reacting, the APC leader in the area,  Dr. Samuel Abah prayed for the success of the team and urged them not to relent in their consultations.
He urged them to enumerate the problem bedevilling the area so as to ensure they achieve their objectives for the constituency when they get the mandate.
