Yuletide: Hon Rabiu Alfa Preaches Peace and Tolerance

The honorable member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon. Alfa Momoh Rabiu has urged Kogites and Nigerians in general to use the occasion of this year’s Christmas to pray for peace and religious tolerance among all faith adherents.
This was contained in his message to commemorate this year’s Christmas and the coming year celebration. In there, the lawmaker enjoined all to seek God’s intervention for an end in the current misunderstanding that has herald “Barr Firdawsi’s Hijab” saga expressing optimism that the end shall beget a new dawn and a harmonious understanding in the country.
“All religion preaches modesty, we should all pray for peace and tolerance because whatever we do today are always likely to form precedents in the nearest future and hence, the need to treat with caution matters of faith,” he said.
“It is however my prayers that the season provides an opportunity for us to renew our spirituality and focus on loving and tolerating one another as that is the hallmark of every religion,” he added.
While wishing Kogites and all Nigerians, especially those of the Christian faith a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, Hon Rabiu prayed for a hitch-free celebrations and holidays.
