Yohanna Bako Bags International Affairs Doctorate

President of The Anointed Praise (TAP) Ministries and Gospel recording artist, Yohanna Bako has been conferred with an honorary doctorate degree in International Affairs by the Africa Theological Education Network (ATEN).

The conferment took place at the weekend at the Adankolo Campus of the Federal University Lokoja.

ATEN conferred the awards in collaboration with Vision International University, USA, and Bircham International University, Spain, during the first and second convocation of the institution.

In his reaction, Dr Bako expressed gratitude to God for making the event possible, stressing that it was a feather that would challenge him to do more in all facets of life, even as he said it was all down to his commitment to bettering the society.

Apart from being a contemporary gospel recording artist, Dr Yohanna Bako is also a Music Director, Song Writer, and Arranger who has organized concerts and conferences across Africa with his team.

Prominent amongst events he has organised include The Green Concert which is an annual Gospel concert which began in 2006 and grew to become one of the largest outdoor concerts in Kogi state, “Sunday Behaviour”, his first EP was released in 2020 and has enjoyed massive play from fans across the world.

Dr Yohanna Bako has made both spiritual and philanthropic impact in the society beyond Kogi State, teaching God’s word in many localities and helping underprivileged children get education.

He had resigned from the academia as a university lecturer to help business owners and organizations leverage digital and Inbound Marketing to grow their reach, generate leads, and increase Revenue and has worked with brands like Fujistu, AXA Mansard, Doctall, Lagetronix (a Microsoft Gold Partner), Artelier Lifestyle, Prime Lagos, NACK, Musical Empire, and over 20 others.
