The leader of Kogi East Bello Siyasa Network, Hon Nicholas Friday, has described Governor Yahaya Bello as the biggest victim of ‘dark media’.

According to him, the agents of dark politics are mostly those who are far from the state.

“They are preponderantly diaspora based. This particular group of Kogites will not mind in going to any extent to paint the state and Governor black because of their corrosive interests and sentiment. They will never patronise Yahaya Bello even if he is selling long life and prosperity.

Nichola adviced the Governor to continue with his progressive workings, assuring that Kogites are with him.

“In kogi East, with the visible and proactive structures of the Governor ably led the Chief of Staff, Hon Edward Onoja, the Zonal APC chairman, Ahmed Attah, the leader of the Kogi East Emerging Leaders Forum, Dr Usman Ogbo, and host of others who are frontiers and political drivers in the axis, they will submit Kogi East to the Governor even if election is to hold by 12pm in the night,” he said.

In a statement he signed and made available to the press in the state capital Lokoja on Monday, Nicholas consoled the Governor and the party over the death of Late Alhaji Linco Ocheje.

He also thanked the Governor for coming to the aid of the people of Dekina LGA, for including Anyigba to Dekina township road in his 2019 projects list and making it his uppermost priority.

Nicholas Ayegba Friday, who was the former zonal leader of the defunct Kwankwasiyya Movement in Kogi East, now known as Bello Siyasa Network promised the Governor that his campaign will surpass the past as the commoners will support his reelection campaign through him with campaign vehicles from every local Government in Kogi East.

“From different wards, many motorcycle riders will ride for Yahaya Bello’s victory. The people owns everything in any democracy and that is where our strength and focus is.

“Kogi is our home and the Governor is our son and leader of the youthful revolution in Kogi State. Those Kogites paid to bring down the Governor and Government of Kogi State should desist from it, the Governor will win both in the primary and general elections. Noise can’t stop the river from flowing, unnecessary and evil minded media gang-up can not stop the second coming of the Governor,” he said.
