Dr. Toyosi Akure, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the Kogi State House of Assembly, Yagba West Constituency, has pledged to place the development of Yagba West at the forefront of his legislative agenda if elected.
Akure made the commitment while interacting with supporters and stakeholders in Odo Ere, assuring residents that their welfare and the overall development of the area would remain his primary focus.
According to him, the “Yagba West Project” represents a collective vision aimed at improving infrastructure, expanding economic opportunities, empowering youths and women, and ensuring effective representation at the state legislature.

“The Yagba West Project will top our priority. Our commitment is to provide purposeful and people-oriented representation that will address the challenges confronting our communities and create opportunities for sustainable growth,” he said.
The ADC candidate noted that the constituency deserved quality representation that would attract development projects and facilitate closer engagement between elected officials and the people.
Akure stressed the need for inclusive governance, promising to consult widely with traditional rulers, community leaders, youths, women, and other stakeholders in the formulation of policies and programmes affecting the constituency.
He also reiterated his commitment to championing initiatives that would improve security, education, healthcare delivery, agriculture, and rural development across Yagba West.
The House of Assembly hopeful called on residents to support his candidacy and the ADC, expressing confidence that together they could usher in a new era of progress and prosperity for the constituency.
Akure said his aspiration was driven by a desire to serve and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of Yagba West and the well-being of its people.
