Chairman of Yagba GYB Stakeholders, Hon. Asiwaju Asiru Idris has declared that Yagba Federal constituency in Kogi State is sealed for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Asiwaju made this known during the meeting of the leadership of Yagba GYB stakeholders in Isanlu on Sunday.
The meeting of stakeholders to discuss way forward for the success of the party in the forthcoming general elections. meeting had in attendance all appointees of the state government from the Federal constituency and other leaders of APC.
Speaking after the meeting, the secretary of the group, Bashorun M.D. Eseyin commended the stakeholders for the massive turnout at the meeting.
Eseyin stated that massive turnout underscored the acceptance the party enjoys in Yagba land. He said the acceptance will translate into electoral victory for APC in 2019.
“There is no iota of doubt for one to assert, having seen the massive turnout at the meeting, that Yagba Federal Constituency is sealed, managed and under the control of our great party, the APC.
“We salute the courage of our newly integrated members. These bold steps as taken by you all is a guarantee that our governor and our party can be rest assured of success.
“The Governor Yahaya Bello led administration has proven to have immeasurable amount of love and concerns for us in Yagba federal constituency. When we consider laudable projects in Yagba land like the Omi Dam project, Omi rice mill that should be due for commissioning by President Muhammadu Buhari in the early months of 2019, road construction, juicy appointments, the revamping of Yagba water works, healthcare advancements, educational development and series of empowerment programs just to mention a few, it is obvious that this government love Yagba people.
“Our coming together is obviously a big threat to oppositions. Let us continue to maintain the momentum as we shall continue to put them behind the bars of fear with our strong unity,” he said.
Eseyin called on electorate in Yagba federal constituency to sustain their support for the All Progressives Congress.
