The Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN) has joined the nation in celebrating International Workers’ Day.

In his official message made available to the press, Dr. Eseyin Adeola, President of the Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria, emphasized the importance of prudence and sacrifice in liberating Nigeria from economic constraints.

Dr. Adeola charged governments at all levels to embrace a sacrificial path, prioritizing judicious use of resources and implementing policies that foster sustainable growth and development for the betterment of all Nigerians.

He noted that the Workers’ Day is a day dedicated to honoring the remarkable contributions of Nigerian workers to the growth and prosperity of our beloved country.

“Today, we salute the resilience, dedication, and sacrifices of Nigerian workers who tirelessly toil day in and day out to propel our nation forward. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and their steadfast resolve in the face of challenges serve as an inspiration to us all.

“In particular, POHAN extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Federal Government under the visionary leadership of President Bola Tinubu for the recent implementation of increment in salary wages and pensions for Nigerian workers. This commendable initiative reflects the government’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare and well-being of our hardworking citizens.

“As we mark this significant day, let us reaffirm our collective commitment to building a prosperous and inclusive nation where every worker is valued, respected, and empowered to thrive,” he said.
