“We’ll Proffer Lasting Solution to Perennial Water Problem in Ebira land” – Senator Abatemi

Vice chairman of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Nurudeen Abatemi-Usman (PDP, Kogi Central) has reiterated his determination to turn around Ebira land.

 Speaking at the weekend during his visit to the Ebira community in Kaduna, Abatemi-Usman said he had already taken steps to develop his senatorial district.

In a statement by his media assistant Michael Jegede, Abatemi-Usman who, is also a member of the African Union Parliament, said, “Prior to my election, I was here to seek your support. Today, I’m here to thank you all for the confidence you have reposed in me by electing me as your senator. I want to assure you all that you won’t regret your decision.

“I love this job. I’m prepared for it, and I won’t let you down. My team and I are working hard to proffer a lasting solution to the perennial water problem in Ebiraland. We are equally working to ensure the revitalization of the Ajaokuta Steel Complex because of the impact it will have on our people and the country at large.”

In his remarks, the Ohinoyi Ohinoyi Anebira, Alhaji Sadiq Obari Isah, who said he had been in Kaduna for about 49 years, described the senator’s visit as first of its kind and urged him to continue with his good work in the National Assembly.
