On behalf of the entire youth of this country and Kogi in particular under the auspices of PDP National Youth Rebirth Forum we wish to call on all the Nigerian youth and Kogi in particular to join us as we observe a 3 days fasting and prayers for our dear Governor and leader Captain Idris Wada who was recently involved in a motor accident .
We thank God for sparing his life and keeping him alive, this is a clear testimony that he is a child of destiny, its a clear testimony of his good deeds and commitment to the development of Kogi people.
A man who has refused to be flown abroad because of his stern patriotism and believe in our health system, this is most unprecedented and highly commendable.
We therefore call on every well meaning people to join us as we observe a 3 days fasting and prayers for quick recovery of our governor. We are aware as religious people that there is no power anywhere more than the power of God and God has demonstrated that he’s with Capt Wada that’s why he spared his life and as Christians and Muslims we are not unaware of the devices of the devil and according to the Bible, we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principality and powers in high places that is why we call for a 3 day fasting and prayers.
We are confident that the God of the pensioners whom he has made smile will be with him, the God of infants and pregnant women whose medical bills has become almost free will make him recover, the God of the youth whose lives he has positively affected will make him well.
This fasting and prayers exercise begin on Wednesday 2nd – Friday 4th Jan 2013. From morning till dawn. May God hear our prayers and give our Governor quick recovery (Amen)
