The Administrator of Olamaboro LG ( Chief Host), Hon. Friday Nicodemus Adejo AKA Adejoh Pexy & The Chief of Staff To The 4th Executive Governor of Kogi State~> Chief Edward Onoja received the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, H.E, Elder Simon Achuba with his entourage and had a first stop at the palace of the Ochogwu of Ogugu, Chief Micheal Salifu to receive his royal blessing.
The Council boss extolled the exemplary leadership of the Acting Governor as it is a replica of the workaholic Chief Executive Governor of Kogi State, H.E Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
The Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba described the choice of the thousands of people crossing over to the leading and ruling party, APC as one of the best decisions they have taken.
“APC remains the only party to align with in this present political dispensation. I congratulate the decampees in Olamaboro for the decision taken to be in the moving train. Today you are in safe hands and no longer under the tattered umbrella or any other platform, but in a secured All Progressive Congress. We are lucky to have the person of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello as a focused leader in the state”.

“This Decamping Ceremony is also doubling as the funeral rites of the PDP and any other political party in Olamaboro, LGA in particular and Kogi East in general. APC has taken over. When you look at the profile and calibre of the persons decamping to join us today, you will understand why I said today is the funeral ceremony of the failed PDP in Olamaboro LGA. Many of the decampess are leaders and former leaders of that failed party, some of them still in office. I salute the courage and honesty of the decampees. It is good to do what is right and shame the devil”.

Mr, Vally Ujah described the event as a major boost to the All Progressive Congress (APC) ahead of the 2019/2020 elections.
Other prominent personalities at both the state, zonal and local level were present to grace the occasion. Amongst them are The State APC Women Leader, The Kogi East APC Youth Leader, Hon. Ahmed Attah, and host of other Commissioners, Administrators of Various Local Governments, Board Chairmen, DG’s, SA’s and SSA’s, party stalwarts, friends, well wishers and relatives.
As over seventeen thousand persons decamped from PDP and other parties to join APC in Olamaboro LGA to fashion a new lease of life in the political sphere.
Their conviction is majorly dependent on the tremendous accelerated infrastructural and human capital advancement the area has witnessed within the short period of the Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s led government in Kogi State.
