Titcombe College Egbe Old Students Set to Meet, Celebrate 70th Anniversary of Alma Mater

Activities marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Prestigious Titcombe College, Egbe and the reunion meeting of old students will hold in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government, Kogi State between May 10th 2021 and May 16th 2021.

The umbrella Titcombe College Old Students Association  (TCEOSA) made the announcement at the weekend.

The college was established in January 1951 by the Sudan Interior Mission (SIM).

According to the information contained in a TCEOSA Bulletin Issued by its Secretary,  Professor Samuel Ibiyemi at the weekend, the 70th Anniversary programme involving TCEOSA will be on Friday 14th May 2021 andSaturday 15th May 2021.

Other activities marking the anniversary celebrations between 10th May and 13th May will be school-centric.

The bulletin further stated that: “The programme starts with a Welcome Service on Friday morning, with Awards and a Book Launch in the afternoon, and a motorcade/Novelty Match later in the day. On Saturday, therewill be Sets Project Inspections, followed by the first part of the General Assembly. The Foundation for a CBT Center will be laid, followed by the second part of the General Assembly, which is the elections of TCEOSA Officers.

“Chief Tunji Arosanyin, a distinguished old student and the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee (CPC) for the 70th Anniversary will host the Gala Night on Saturday evening.

“Members who wish to leave Egbe early on Sunday may do so, but other members in and around Egbe are encouraged to please attend the Thanksgiving Service at 1st ECWA Church on the morning of Sunday 16th May 2021”.

The association enjoined all members home and abroad to make it a date to be in Egbe for the anniversary and reunion.
