I give all my unreserved thanks to God Almighty, the one who girds me with strength and makes my way perfect and in supplying all I needed to make the registration a reality even when all hope seemed lost.

On the very outset of this programme, I would like to extend my sincere and heartfelt obligation towards all the personages who have helped me in this endeavor. Without their active guidance, help, cooperation and encouragement, I would not have made headway in this programme.

The time has come for me to bow and show my appreciation; however, I find it impossible to name and adequately give credit to the copious persons who directly or indirectly contributed to my academic and professional success and development. My sincerest gratitude to all those who “walked” and worked with me, and special acclamations to the following:

To Almighty Allah  who walked with me all the way and at all times. At times when the human side of me felt deserted , He reminded me that He would do what I have asked because He is pleased with me .

I’m ineffably indebted to Hon James Abiodun Faleke who was pleased with my zeal to further my education: I appreciate your financial support, prayers, continual affection and eagerness to see that this programme is completed. You acted and responded. Your response was prompt and positive. You have shown yourself to be a passionate leader, a leader that is interested in the well being of the citizens.

I feel supported by your contributions, by your messages of leadership and encouragements.

Similar, profound gratitude goes to Hon Haruna Idoko Musa, who has been a truly dedicated mentor. I appreciate his fatherly counsel, unending understanding, kindness and support.

Alhaji Danjuma Bello,  I thank you for your untiring support and guidance throughout this
journey.

Hon Sam-Adejoh Okedi, there was nothing random about your acts of kindness. I was speechless when I received the alert; your generosity is overwhelming!

Furthermore I would also like to acknowledge with much appreciation  the efforts of  Peter Danjuma, (HOD  Marketing Dept who also doubled as the Dean School  of Business Studies and Patron NAKOSS ). He shared his “crib” with me, giving me a home away from home, interwoven with his consistent fatherly love, care, concern, compassion and assistance. You remain a treasure in my heart, Sir !

To Comrade Lawal Ademu, a dear friend who always found time for frequent dinner and lunch breaks to listen to my concerns, and also share and show his genuine love , concern and consolation. You are a gem ! Consider yourself heartily thanked.

To my caring, loving and supportive brother, Comr Bally: my deepest gratitude. Your encouragement when the times got rough are much appreciated and duly noted. It was a great comfort and relief to know that you were willing to provide management of our household activities while I completed my HND programme. My heartfelt thanks.

To many others whose presence is less visible in this study but deserve special mention because of their invaluable moral support and continuous correspondence by e-mail, letters, social invitations or greeting cards. The beauty, the joy and the radiant colour of the friendship that you shared with me will be cherished forever.

I also acknowledge with a deep sense of reverence , my gratitude towards my  parents and member of my family, who has always supported me morally as well as economically.

Any omission in this brief acknowledgement does not mean lack of gratitude.

And to others, whose names, memory and space I couldn’t possibly mention, I will never forget. Finally,  to people who provided emotional strength when it was tough to carry on, I say remain blessed.

I pray that the Almighty God will watch over all of us on campus , prosper us and make us all a source of pride to our families, states, country and humanity. Saturday’s joy shall be permanent. Amen.

Once again I congratulate all the matriculated students and wish you a productive and fruitful stay in Federal Polytechnic Idah, Kogi state.

God bless us all.

With all my best wishes,

– Alfa Tijani
