Ladies and gentlemen,

I write to you with a heavy heart.

Recently our brother Momohjimoh Hadi was shot dead by an operative of the Nigerian Security And Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) during a peace protest to the PHCN office in Okene. MJ was shot for demanding for his right and privilege as a citizen of this country…… His blood cries for justice

If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine. Ernesto Che Guevara

The death of this young man should not be handled with levity, thinking after all  he is no more.

We cannot expect people to have respect for law and order until we teach respect to those we have entrusted to enforce those laws in the state and nation at large

My reason for writing to the public and the entire Ebira nation is that, if we continue to fold our hands watching Nigeria security agents violate our human rights it will turn out to disadvantage.

If you spend your time hoping someone will suffer the consequences for what they did to your brother or sister in the land, you’re allowing them to hurt you a second time.

Are we afraid of confront this human right violators in the land?

Do you really think we deserve to be treated like animals?

Even the members of the Civil defense Corps are killing her citizens without valid excuse.

They have laid aside their primary assignments and focused on how to waste lives of the citizens.

When things of this nature happen in the land I wait to hear from our leaders, Tarus, Ohis, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, human right activists, and our able lawyers. But it appears that they’ve all remained silent.

There maybe times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.

Elie Wiesel

I call on the Governor, His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi state to demand for the perpetrators of this inhuman act and face the law.

It was a peace protest, which was within the tenets of the law… Why shoot at them? Who ordered you to shoot,  Are you a murderer is the uniform?

We cannot be silent at this, and we cannot assume we are not concerned when the same Ebira blood flow in our veins.

I must speak and demand for the killer of our dear brother Momoh Jimoh Hadi

The youths have decided to let the government take up the case by fetching who among the men of the Nigeria Security And Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) who murdered Momoh Jimoh Hadi.

Truth never damages a cause that is just….. Mahatma  Gandhi

We will not give up until the killer face the law.

Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.
This is not the first extra judicial killing in our land, time will not permit me to roll out the atrocities of this nature committed by uniformed men in kogi central.

We the youths of Kogi Central Senatorial district is asking the state government not to let this senseless act be swept under the carpet, we demand for justice.

God bless you
