The Administrator of Lokoja Local Government, Alhaji Shiru Lawal has described teaching as a noble profession adding that teachers are noble people.
In a statement issued through the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, to commemorate the World Teachers Day, the Council Boss has described teaching as a dignified profession whose influence serves to shape, mould, remould the lives of people through every stages of human development.
“I use this medium to appeal to the teachers in Lokoja Local Government Area that their patience would yield result soon as everything is being done to ensure that their salaries and areas are paid without further delay”.
“I share your pains. I share your agonies. I share your tribulations and I assure you that the New Direction administration of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello would bring permanent succour to all the challenges you are facing.
“I join the rest of the world to celebrate with you on this auspicious occasion”.
