Supreme Court Judgement: Dr Alih Congratulates Nigerians, Call for Genuine Reconciliation in PDP

The House of Assembly member representing Ofu constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly,  Dr Friday Alih has described the Supreme Court judgement that affirmed Senator Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic National Caretaker Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a victory for democracy and Nigerians.
Dr Alih, who reacted to the judgement in Lokoja, congratulated  members and supporters of PDP and Nigerians, while he called on the leadership of the party to embark on genuine reconciliation of aggrieved members in the overall interest of the party for eventual take over of power in 2019.
Dr Alih said “this victory has finally brought a sigh of relief to many of us especially those that have remain resolute in standing by the ideals of truth, democracy and liberty “. He further said that the victory has afforded them another opportunity to unite all and sundry for the task of rescuing Nigeria and democracy.
He hailed the courageous of the judiciary for rising to the  occasion of strengthen the opposition which is the vital tool of democracy.
