The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Domestic Affairs, Hon Aminu Abdulrazak (Okakanda) has described his principal as a humane leader for the timely and comprehensive distribution of post-subsidy removal palliative to the people of the state.

Hon Abdulrazak also took a swipe at critics of the New Direction administration who he said have thought that the intervention would not see the light of the day.

According to him, the flag-off of the palliative distribution is “another development that has made destructive critics of the incumbent administration to bury their heads in shame”, revealing that it was implemented without any political undertones.

Hon Okakanda appreciated Governor Bello for representing the interests of the Kogi people at both national and local levels since the inception of his administration.

He said while the palliatives were ready in the warehouse and plans as well as modalities for sharing were being crafted, “the gullible sets of antelopic children of anger were throwing tantrums to demean the image of the incumbent administration and score cheap political points.”

“Gov Bello who represents an emblem of unity, transparency and accountability of the state resources has once again complemented his rare leadership qualities as the Palliatives Distribution have been flagged off on Thursday 21st of September 2023 at the newly built Muhammau Buhari Square,” he said.

He admonished Kogi citizens to continue to support the administration of Gov Bello, noting that the interest of the downtrodden people is a top priority.

He further urged all well-informed citizens of Kogi State to vote for Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman for his ability to sustain and build on the developmental turnaround ongoing in Kogi State.

Hon Okakanda said President Ahmed Tinubu have high regards for Kogi State for their massive support in the last presidential elections, therefore he has thrown his weight behind Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman, the candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress.

“We must therefore reciprocate this rare presidential recognition by voting massively for him and shunning all primordial and regressive interests.

“Kogi State has been unified by the administration of His Excellency Gov Bello, therefore OAU will consolidate this unity of purpose”, he averred.
