The Standup for Women Society (SWS) has welcomed its new international members from other African nations.
The President, Barr. Deborah Ijadele-Adetona in her welcome address made public by her National Public Relations Officer, Billie Nwogu, said the new executive members who were officially inducted into the association have proven beyond doubt that they will uphold the tenets of the association.
Ijadele-Adetona charged them to demonstrate the character which the SWS stands for and to ensure they support their countries’ governments to build a society where women will be relevant and bold to defend their rights.
The New executives inducted are Mrs. Agness Fatmata Tarawallie from Sierra leone, Mrs. Beatrice Akole and Mrs. Halima Brahan – Uganda, Mrs. Esther Davis Yango – Liberia, Mrs. Magreth Tsuses and Sakeenah Snyders – Namibia
Others are Mrs. Betty Mambwe Luko – Zambia, Mrs. Victorine Macaulay – Cameroon, Mrs. Sharon Maziya – Eswatini, Mrs. Isabella Lena Nzighi and Mrs. Rebecca Masibayi – Kenya, Ms. Hanna Ashade and Ms. Anita Frimpong – Ghana, South Africa – Mrs. Grace Mumo, Dr. Belhadhi Sabrina – Algeria and Madam Ndeyawa Ceesay – Gambia
