A call has gone to the general public to come to the financial aid of Mr. Abel Audu who needs 15million Naira for kidney transplant.
Diagnosed of end stage kidney disease, Audu is on admission in University of Abuja Teaching Hospital UATH, Gwagwalada Abuja.
The patient who is on the definitive treatment as a result of the due renal replacement therapy that required a 2-3 times weekly maintenance, hemodialysis for life with a cost of N5m yearly or alternatively the kidney transplantation on his system.
The financial implications of the continuous dialysis of the patient twice on weekly basis amounted to 30,000 each and 60,000 weekly, aside other treatment and procedures.
Abel Audu, a 54-year old, with Hospital Number 96-43-75, is appealing to the general public to help him raise the need money for kidney transplant.
