Senatorial Primaries are here. In Kogi State, Senator Smart Adeyemi, CON, is heavy. He has a heavy credential and heavy experience. The type of heaviness that equals what many heavy duty trucks and utility vehicles do to the Lokoja, Ajaokuta, Okene roads that have left most of our roads in a description.
And if you look at another heart -ache, you remember Ajaokuta Steel complex, abandoned.
When he rolled out his plans, he was not talking “Humanitarian, social development and all those vague nonsense”. He was precinct:

- Agitation and and Legislative Support for The Completion of Omi Dam in Yagba West. (Omi Dam supplies water to Kogi Rice Farm which has a rice Mill at Ejiba, Kogi West. Confluence Rice is produced there)
- Encouraging Modern Farming in Kogi West
- Youth and Women Empowerment
These are precise and practical statements without any form of vagueness. He knows what he is going there to do and he is going to do it. With the current political arrangement, Senator Smart is also well positioned to be the next Senate President of Nigeria if he is elected into office. This is a big win to Kogi State because all roads would lead to the Ajaokuta Steel which would transform Nigeria for the better.
