The best agitation is the one made against bad leaders who make people gnash their teeth in pains. It is sad to note that many persons that cry about their bad leaders are the very ones that still become drugged to vote them in.
So many people, especially the young people, are so gullible to be used as veritable instruments to evolve bad leaders. Gullible people are like desperately sick persons who blindly fall back into the very hands of the persons that made them to become so sick.
This is a typical example of the bad leadership provided by the two term Senator Smart Adeyemi and Senator Dino Melaye who are still struggling to imposed themselves on the people, clamouring to comeback.
The people of Kogi West should practically resolve to wake up from slumber to discover the cause of their problem. Many are far away from such reality as to how to go about good governance in a democratic society. Democracy is a culture which needs to be learned and inculcated into one’s existing tradition, but how can this be made to manifest? It can be made manifest when these crops of bad leaders are rejected at the polls.
The present Senator too does not help matters. It will be prudent if political contestants can be made to do some leadership training on the true nature and language of government. Our leaders are very far from politics.
Here, a typical Nigerian man and mostly Kogi West people see politics and politicking as a lucrative compensation package for themselves and their families. This is why politics have become a do or die affair business and so dirty a game thus pushing the decent persons away from the scene, Those decent politicians must be encouraged to participate in the senatorial elections in 2019.
Kogi West give in to be ruled by the proverbial one eyed king where all led are blind to reality which borders on good governance that will be characterised by the economic development which we all hope for. We have the weapon to choose our next senator in 2019, without compromising. I have started the struggle, how about you?
