The new Bishop of the Evangelical Church of Yahweh, Lokoja, Rt Rev Olufemi Omotayo, has called on the congregation to serve the Almighty God in order to attain their chosen destiny.

The Bishop expressed his gratitude to the Primate and Founder of the Church, Apostle Oluwashanu Olabayo, who made him what he is today.

In his sermon, Bishop Ted Bako, Chairman Pentecostal Churches of Nigeria, Kogi state chapter, praised the new Bishop for deeming it right to embark on thanksgiving, adding that ingratitude is not only a sin, but also an act of wickedness and an abomination to God.

He, therefore, called on the congregation to imbibe the spirit of thanksgiving so that they can get more of God’s blessings.

He admonished them to support the new Bishop in his new role.

Many groups participated in the thanksgiving amongst whom were various units of the Church, family members, Ogori Descendants Union Lokoja Branch members.
