Senator Aidoko Commends SDGs Management

Chairman, Senate committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Senator Atai Aidoko Ali has commended the Senior Special Assistant to the President on the program, Princess Adejoke, Orelope-Adefulire for bringing on board innovations that will enhance the program through the launching of donor partnership forum towards attaining the SDGs.

The chairman made this disclosure during an interactive session with media men ‎to showcase the new template of the intervention agency which include private sector driven, donor and multinational agencies along with government participation.
Aidoko stated that the multiple arrangement adopted by the ‎current management will go along way to address the 17 goals of the program and the clamour to achieve a near perfect situation.
He described the role of the SDGs as very significant and complimentary to the development ‎and advancement of the basic necessities of life.
Aidoko, who represents Kogi East in the Senate, urged the management not to relent in its efforts ‎as the senate will do anything humanly possible within the ambit of the law to ensure a free and conducive environment of the agency to thrive.
According to him, Nigeria will benefit immensely from this innovation in terms of achieving all the goals that will assist to move to the next level of development.
