The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Youth empowerment, Sport and Student Affairs, Hon. MD Eseyin has reaffairmed the commitment of the present administration to tackle unemployment and eliminate poverty in the State.
Hon. Eseyin stated this recently in a chat with newsmen in Lokoja.
He commended the empowerment programme sponsored by political appointees from Olamaboro led by Hon. Edward Onoja. He applauded their concerted efforts to address poverty.
He noted that job creation and youth empowerment are the major thematic areas of Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration, and the New Direction Blueprint.
The Special Adviser urge the recipients to make use this opportunity which he said is geared towards training those who have acquired skills in various areas and to inculcate in them adequate managerial skills for business.
Hon Eseyin called on appointees in other local government areas to always give their best in finding solutions to the challenges faced by their constituents in other to actualize the promises of Governor Yahaya Bello-led administration.
It will be recalled that recently, political appointees from Olamaboro led by the Chief of Staff to the Governor empowered about 1,500 youths, women and people with disabilities in their communities.
