One of the best qualities of a good leader is to promote and entertain peace. As an individual we always display the hereditary trait of of our fore fathers, meaning our actions, words and the deeds of our daily life speak for our father’s characters and behaviors.
Hon. Sanni Salau Ogembe is a political leader who have in mind the interest of his people and always ready to carry his constituents along for good.
Hon. Sanni has proven to the entire people of Okene II constituency, that promoting peace and avoiding violence have always been a trait that run through the blood of his family right from time.
Thursday, 7th of march 2019 was a vivid evidence which proves that peace reign in the blood of the Ogembes, as Hon. Sanni Salau Ogembe was attacked by some suspected hoodlums allegedly sponsor by All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi on his way to his family house. The hoodlums obstructed his political tour taking place that day.
Hon. Sanni Salau told his loving people to shun the hoodlums’ act of violence. He maintained that his political ambition isn’t worth the life of any body.
Those hoodlums attacked him some meters to his family house with a white sienna bus with a vehicle number plate covered with APC sticker suspected to have been donated to the APC thugs in Okene II constituency by one of the APC leaders in Kogi state.
Hon. Sanni reacted to the attack by waving them a left hand and told his people to avoid the thugs that the best way to fight is not by machete and gun but by wisdom.
Hon. Sanni is a true icon of peace and also an evidence that proves that peace run in the DNA of their family.
