The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant for November 16th election in Kogi state, Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi has congratulated the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Senator Ahmed Lawan and Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila on their emergence as leaders of the two chambers of the National Assembly.
This was contained in a statement that was signed by his spokesperson, Sylvester Ojogbane and was made available to newsmen in Abuja yesterday.
Lulu who was former President, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), also thanked the APC senators and House of Representatives members for affirming party supremacy through the elections that were in tandem with party choices.
He congratulated the APC leadership led by comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu “for their doggedness, steadfastness and uprightness in getting it right for the party – APC”.
He assured the public that the new leadership of the National Assembly will bring about robust legislation through the passage of bills that will have direct impact on the society.
