A Past National President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr Idris Omede has admonished Moslems in Kogi state to see the celebrations of this year’s Sallah as an opportunity to renew faith in the development of the state.
A season’s greetings personally signed by Omede, he stated that it is a thing of joy that this year’s celebrations, amidst bumper harvest and uninterrupted rain, will trigger good tide capable of playing down poverty and hunger.
Dr Omede enjoined the people to key into the idea of establishing farms of different phases even if it means at subsistence level to arrest the over dependence on government for sustenance.
Omede, who is the current President of Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) challenged the political class from Kogi East district to see to the welfare of its people by creating an enabling environment to engage people in profitable ventures.
