Officials of Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), in Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Abuja have commended the contractor for the high quality of the ongoing construction of Anyava-Agassa-Upogoro road.
The officials that were led to the site in Agassa, Okene Local Government Area by Engineer Mirage expressed satisfaction with the pace with which the job is progressing in the short time of commencement.
Engr Mirage who remarked that the pavements and bridges constructed so far would no doubt withstand the menace of erosion which has always been the bane of roads in Nigeria, noting that “this is a good work in progress”.
While responding, the contractor, Engr. Adams of the Pinnatech Engineering Nigeria Limited said his company has no reason not to execute the road construction according to specification that will meet global standard.
Engr Adams further reiterated that Pinnatech Engineering company will not disappoint Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), Senator Yakubu Oseni and particularly the good people of Kogi Central who are the primary users of the road when completed.
“The day we met with Senator Yakubu Oseni, he repeatedly emphasized on one thing. He said ‘what belongs to my people must be given to them in full and without compromise’. He is obviously a leader that will not settle for substandard job especially when it involves his constituents.
“We are therefore determined not to disappoint him by making sure the best of job is done on this road”, he pledged.
