Again your leader, our humble servant, the most famous local government Administrator in Kogi state, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad of Okene Local government was live on confluence radio, 94.1 FM Lokoja to tell the people, his achievements as Okene Local government boss in the last 14 months.
After reading out his rich personal profile and political history, Engr. Abdulrazaq wasted no time to explain to his listeners, the uncommon transformations in Okene Local government under his dynamic and indefatigable leadership.
Beginning from zero IGR to nearly one million two hundred thousand naira a month, to massive development in education, health, security, youths empowerment among others.
On security, Hon. Abdulrazaq donated his official residence to the military special forces, procurement of 4 hectares of land for the construction of military forward operational base, distribution of operational vehicles and motorcycles to all the security agencies in Okene local government.
In education, Engr. Abdulrazaq’s administration ungraded the FSP Secondary School to a standard college approved by WAEC/NECO, paid WAEC/NECO fees of 53 students, sponsored 10 students to Turkish International School, Abuja on full scholarship and construction of modern 3blocks of 2classrooms in each ward of Okene Local government.
He said, he has distributed 600bags of fertiliser to farmers and constructed a branch of Bank of Agriculture in Okene which is due to be commissioned immediately after the sallah holidays.
Engr. Abdulrazaq has also empowered over 600 youths on ICT and equipped the primary Health Centres in Okene local government.
Rehabilitation of of Okene water works, rehabilitation of Okene township roads, renovation of the local government secretariat were all parts of his achievements.
When asked on the state government’s presence in his Local government, Engr. Abdulrazaq was full of praises for His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Bello as he list numerous ongoing and completed projects to includes massive roads construction, security of lives and property, Free health program and renovation of hospitals to mention but few.
For over 30 minutes, the interviewers were taken aback by the achievements of Hon. Engr. Abdulrazaq within few months in office.
