The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon. Salman Idris, has expressed shock over the demise of the wife of the Obaro of Kabba, Olori Maria Ige Owoniyi.
In a condolence message to the Obaro of Kabba and the Chairman, Okun Traditional Council, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, Hon. Salman said the death of Olori is tragic and heartbreaking, and a major loss to the royal family, Owe Kingdom, and the entire Okun race.
Hon. Salman described Olori Maria Ige Owoniyi as a peace-loving woman who was a strong pillar behind His Royal Majesty.
“Her absence will leave a huge vacuum in the royal family and the community at large,” he said.
The lawmaker prayed to God to grant the soul of Olori Maria Ige Owoniyi eternal repose and grant the Obaro, the royal family, and the entire Owe Kingdom the fortitude to bear this huge and irreparable loss.
