Member, House of Representatives, Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has announced the passing of his mother, late Mama Arametu Sanni Egidi.
Mama Arametu passed in the late hours of Monday after a brief illness.
In an official announcement, the Rep member said his heart is weighed down by profound sorrow at the passing of his beloved mother.
He described his mother as “a woman whose strength, grace, and resilience shaped every fiber of who I am today. She was more than a mother to me—she was my backbone, my guiding light, my earthly anchor.”
“After the departure of my father, she bore the heavy mantle of both roles with unmatched courage and unwavering love. She sacrificed endlessly, believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself, and stood by me through every storm. Her hands built our home, her prayers covered our lives, and her smile lit up our darkest days.
“To lose her at a time like this feels like the very ground beneath me has shifted. It is a pain words cannot fully express—a silence that echoes in the deepest part of my soul. Yet, in the midst of this grief, I choose to celebrate a life well lived. A life that was an embodiment of love, perseverance, and selflessness. She poured herself out for her children and for everyone blessed enough to encounter her.”
He prayed that Allah grant her gentle soul eternal rest, and grant the family she left behind the fortitude to bear this loss.
