Rep Member-elect, Hon Halims Assures Ankpa Federal Constituency of Good Representation

The House of Representatives member-elect for Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has promised the people of the area good representation upon resumption at the National Assembly.

Speaking on the outcome of the President and National Assembly election in the state, Hon Halims expressed gratitude to the people of his constituency and the state at large for electing All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates at all levels during the just concluded poll.

Halims was announced winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) having defeated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Hajiya Habiba Deen as well as the serving member, Hon Hassan Omale who flied the ADC ticket by a very wide margin during the election held penultimate Saturday.

Halims, who also spoke on the forthcoming states house of assembly election said the election is not of much contention as the APC candidates across his constituency are too good not to be elected.

It could be recalled that Hon Halims was declared winner of the election having polled a total of thirty eight thousand, three hundred and ninety eight (38,398) votes against his closest rival Hajiya Habiba who polled twenty six thousand eight hundred and forty five (2,6845) votes.
