Rejoinder to my post dated 06:04:2018 titled “TIME TO BID HON. AHMED AHMED FAREWELL”. The story generated a lot of panic in the circle of the Honourable member representing me and the entire good people of Ankpa1 at the Kogi State House of Assembly, and many of his supporters cried more than the bereaved.

Many gullible minded personalities felt it was a sponsored post and a deliberate attempt to pull Hon. Ahmed Ahmed down.

NO!

Some eye service supporters of Hon. Ahmed Ahmed advised him to order for my arrest because of the constructive criticism that I made against my own member at the state House of Assembly.

When the information of my arrest got to me, I queried myself by introspection to ascertain if it is wrong to demand for accountability and sound representation from someone representing me in KHSA. No!! It can never be wrong.

TRUTH BE TOLD:

I remain my humble self, Akor Martins.

I made my position clear in my last post because of his style of representation.

I pointed out his perceived flaws and noted how his presence is not felt in my community that doubled as the center of our ward and I was never wrong.

I’m a social media crusader, an advocate of good governance; and a patriotic activist for justice saddled with the responsibility of constructive criticism and praise singing the government in any sphere they are performing.

After my message was passed, Hon. Ahmed Ahmed swung into action the next day 7:04:2018 and visited my community (Okenyi) that doubled as the center of Ward 2 in Ankpa Local government area of Kogi state.

For the purpose of justice and fair play that I represent, myself and Hon. Ahmed Ahmed spoke extensively and one of the questions he asked me was: “Martins, deep inside you know and can testify that I have tremendously done well in my constituency in the area of sound and infrastructural development”.

I said to him “YES” but such is yet to be effected in Okenyi.

I have introduced myself in different platform and occasion on my stand and what I stand for. I’m not an enemy of Hon. Ahmed Ahmed. I am an advocate of good governance and Executive Director of Global Dynamic Leadership Initiative, an organization that is non governmental and non political organization that is aimed at leaders responsiveness to their community. It is an organization that is concerned about leadership, empowering young people and women to be self dependent and identifying community needs and create a platform for meeting these needs through interactive session.

I condemn policies of government and sing their praise in any areas they are performing.

Appreciation: It is on this note, that I will like to acknowledge the kind gesture of Hon. Ahmed Mohammed who registered his presence in Okenyi on Saturday 7:04:2018 to flag-off Okenyi water project and he also empower 100 youths and women respectively.

He (Hon.Ahmed Ahmed) also gave 10 thousand naira each to 50 less privileged to start up trade. The house member ordered the PHCN Manager, Ankpa branch to immediately reconnect the community as he promised to clear all outstanding debt been owed for several months and promised to transfer the sum of one f hundred and fifty thousand natural (#150:000) to clear up all the community outstanding PHCN bills.

As at the time of this report, a source confirmed to me that Okenyi water project has been flagged-off by Hon. Ahmed Ahmed. The source also confirmed the delay in executing the water project was never a deliberate act as the contractors needs to carry out a concrete survey because of the topography of the place and the depths in discovering water in Okenyi community.

He (Hon Ahmed) also mobilized the contractor to commenced work today Monday 09:04:2018. I promise to visit the site before the completion of the water project and produce a comprehensive report and quality of the water project that was flag-off by Hon. Ahmed Mohammed.

On this note, I want to, on behalf of the people of Okenyi ward 2 and other like minds, without fear or favour specially thank Hon. Ahmed Mohammed for registering his presence as a House of Assembly Member in my community and making my people enjoy the dividends of democracy as a member representing me and the good people of Ankpa1 at the Kogi State House of Assembly.

We wish to reaffirm our support for you as a people and partners in progress and development for the purpose of fair and just representation. Once again we the entire sons and daughters of Okenyi community, say thank you for this uncommon gesture which you have portrayed as a representative.

Thanks and remain blessed.
