The attention of the Management of Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Kabba has been drawn to some certain publications making rounds on Social Media alleging the “non implementation of Governor Bello’s employment approval order in COE TECH. Kabba”, sponsored by a group known as Okun Legacy Front.
The Management of the College would like to categorically state that management under the guidance of the governing council as contained in the law that established the College has sponsored advertisement for the vacancies for academic staff positions and for the post of Registrar, Bursar, Librarian and Director of Works in the Nigerian Tribune and Leadership Newspaper of 24th November, 2017.
It would be expedient to note that the College received an impressive and large volume of applications that needs careful sorting to draw up a shortlist.
We wish to state that the Chairman Governing Council, Prof. Bala Emmanuel is a man of proven integrity and detribalized personality. Hence, his appointment by His Excellency Alh.Yahaya Bello as the Chairman, Governing Council of the College.
The group “Okun Legacy Front” is to note that libel is a crime by the law of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We are aware of the fact that the Okun people are known for development. Let Okun Legacy Front join the management in developing the institution by making a visit to the College and stop spreading falsehood.
