Ramadan: Hon Idris King Distributes Food Items to Constituents, Seek Support for Gov Bello

In fulfillment of the Islamic injunctions, a former National Assembly member who represented Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency, Hon Abdulaziz Idris King has extended hands of fellowship to his constituents and less privilege in Okene local government area of Kogi state.

Hon. King, while delivering items worth hundreds of thousands naira at his residence in Okene, congratulated Muslims faithful observing the sacred month of Ramadan.

He said it is important to share and show love, togetherness in the Holy month. charging Muslims faithfuls who are observing the fasting to use the month to pray the peace and unity of the Nigeria.

The former lawmaker urged Muslims to increase acts of charity, constant recitation of the holy Quran and Islamic obligations that could bring the ummah close to Allah.

He stressed that acts of charity is a social responsibility that has been place on our shoulder by the creator.

He also seized the opportunity to appeal to good people of Kogi state to support the ambition of  Governor Yahaya Bello in his bid to lead the country as the president, adding that the governor has done a lot in terms of infrastructural development, human capacity building, rehabilitation, reconstruction of roads across the state amongst others.

“And in area of security, the governor has improved and that alone reduce the criminals activities in the state.”
