The Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government Council, Alh. Abagwu Ibrahim has urged Muslims to pray for peace and development.

Abagwu through his media aide, Ismail Abdullahi, urged Muslims particularly in Ankpa LGA and Kogi state in general to use the opportunities of the holy month judiciously.

Abagwu also used the opportunity to call on Nigerians to pray for the aspiration of Kogi State Governor,  Yahaya Bello, to become the president of this great country, Nigeria.

He noted that peace is one of the major things being threatened in world as Nigeria battles with all forms of vices. He added that peace will surely bring development when it comes.

“I want to use this opportunity to felicitate Muslims in Ankpa local government, and Kogi state in general on the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fasting.

“One of the major thing the world need now is peace. I want to urge everyone to pray for peace and development in this holy month. Let’s make judicious use of the holy month.

“As we pray for this, let’s also pray for our Governor, His Excellency, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello, the one who’s piloting the affairs of the state,” he said.
