The honorable member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Alh. Alfa Momoh Rabiu in his usual and humble disposition joined Hon Omale Jonathan as he lays his mother to eternal rest at the deceased country home, Elubi in Dekina local government area of Kogi state.
The interment which was more of celebration of a life well spent was greeted not only by mammoth crowd but also had many highly placed personalities from different spheres of life commiserating with the bereaved family.
The deceased, late Madam Kaka Omale (Nee Onofa) who was born on the 1st of August, 1936 and lived for eighty one years before passing on to transition on 4th September 2017 after a brief illness and she survived by children, grand children and great grand children.
The Eucharist session which preceded her interment as all graced by the honorable member also had in attendance the member representing Ankpa federal constituency at the house of representatives, Hon Omale Hassan, Kogi state commissioner for rural development, Hon Enema Paul, a revered APC leader and former PDP zonal leader of Ankpa origin Hon Seidu Odoma.
Others were Alh Tijani Alfa, Madam Lucia Odah Rabiu, representatives from the NDIC, staff from the Kogi state ministry of Justice, a senatorial hopeful Hon Comr Edime Amade and a host of others from within and outside the state. Highlight of the event was good will messages from family members, friends and associates of the deceased offsprings as followed by a vote of thanks from the family to the epoch and highly esteemed audience.
It will be recalled that Hon Omale Jonathan who hails from Ofugo in Enjema district of Ankpa local government area, had contested the house of assembly seat of Ankpa 2 constituency against Hon Alh Alfa Momoh Rabiu in all his outing from 2007 till date but what remained most fascinating in the duo is their sportsmanship and a no bicker political orientation, a virtue that is seemingly a strong factor in their across border friendship.
