The Kogi State Chairman of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Alhaji Haddy Ametuo, has said that the invasion of the territory of judiciary by Professor Attahiru Jega on the Supreme Court judgement has proved that he is biased.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Alhaji Ametuo pointed out that the judgement of the Supreme Court on the tenure of the five governors was very clear, and wondered why the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) boss and some political leaders in the country were bent on causing confusion in Kogi State.
Ametuo said by taking sides with the PDP on a legal matter, Jega has actually justified why the ruling party had been recording landslide victories in elections.
He said since leaders were elected by the people under a democracy, the ruling party could not continue to impose its wishes on the nation, and insisted that the interpretation of the judgement lay with the judiciary, especially the apex court that delivered it in the first place.
