Professor Olayemi Durotimi Akinwumi has emerged as the 3rd Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja.
The announcement was made, on Friday, by the Chairman of the university’s governing council, Senator Chris Iheanyichukwu Adighije following the conclusion of the process of selection of the next Vice-Chancellor for the institution.
Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, born on 20th January, 1964, is the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
He is a Professor of History and a Fellow of Historical Society of Nigeria (HSN).
