In every state, the role of the Speaker of the House of Assembly is a paramount one, and as such, there is every need to  ensure that the occupier of such an invaluable seat is fit morally, politically and psychologically.

Kogi is already going through tough times with a youthful Governor with tough policies whose workings has caused a whole lot controversies.

Having an unfocused, uninspiring Speaker? Current Kogi state Speaker, Prince Kolawole Matthew is one speaker whose redundancy speaks volume.
The outgoing Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Kolawole lacks the moral and political capacity to be the number three citizen of Kogi state.

In Kabba-Bunu LGA where he hails from, he has little or no political relevance. His inability to deliver his ward for the APC in the recently held general election can be attributed to his undignified comportment and cowardly nature. The incoming 7th Assembly cannot afford to have him as Speaker.

Having the Speaker of the House of Assembly from that axis should have been a big plus to the entire people of Kabba-Bunu, but due to his inefficiency in piloting affairs, the Kabba-Bunus have benefited nothing.

Stories of his irresponsible act around little girls has continued to derail the integrity of the House as a whole. Funds meant for community project are being directed to funding different hotel bills where he keeps different girls.
His lack of accountability is another trait that has proven him unfit for the seat. He’s a cheat whose desperate bid for money can lure him at any point to betray collective interest.

It is unarguably true that Prince Kolawole is unfit for the seat of Speaker. I will soon expose some illegality of the Kogi state House of Assembly under the leadership of Prince Kolawole.
