I sincerely want to draw the attention of Kogi State Government to an act of political intolerance exhibited by unknown political party. Such act in my opinion is a pointer to the fact that the security of both lives and property in Kogi East and the entire Kogi State is weak, hence it is needful for the State to increase the security to avert crime.

It is amazing that in this generation a political party still sponsor destruction of another parties bill boards. A bill board belonging to an aspirant on People’s Democratic Party  constructed directly opposite AP filling station at Anyigba, Ajegwu junction, a road leading to Idah and other places were torn and destroyed by some unscrupulous elements in the name of politics of bitterness. To me, it is a sign of weakness. I will not and never allow any of my party members to indulge in such act because I know the consequences. So I beg all other political party leaders to caution their followers and guide them properly so that we can all coexist peacefully in one society.

As an experienced politician, I advise the Government should control this before it gets out of hands, for I have seen where such act has generated alot of crisis.

And to all our great supporters, we beg you to remain calm, your act of not reacting negatively to such unscrupulous act is a pointer to the fact that PDP is a law abiding party and I am proud of you come rain come sun shine.

PDP…
POWER TO THE PEOPLE….

– Maman Usman Pele

PDP Zonal Chairman (Kogi East)
