Senator Dino Melaye (Kogi West, APC) has reacted to his running battles with Nigerian Police Force.
Speaking for the first time after his bail application was granted in court, Melaye took to his Instagram page, stating that arrest and harassment by the police started four years ago.
He alleged that the Nigeria Police Force is still owing him 10million Naira. He referred to his illegal arrest by policemen in 2014 and the court ruling that awarded 10million Naira damage.
The Kogi lawmaker, however, reiterated that he is unshaken and cannot be destroyed.
“The Police illegal arrest and harassment did not start now. This was four years ago. Where Court awarded 10 million Naira damage to me that police is yet to pay.
“Fear not him that can destroy or damage the body, fear only Him that can destroy both the body and the Spirit. My Spirit and resolve is unshakeable,” he said.
