Renown Kogi philanthropist and elder statesman, Dr. Williams Toyin Akanle is to celebrate the 20th Memorial of his Mother, Late Mama Janet Aina Akanle with a thanksgiving service.
Dr. Akanle, in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, noted that remembrance will take place at Glory Land, Makutu Isanlu, Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The ceremony will hold on Saturday, 22nd July 15, 2023 at 10am.
Dignitaries from all walks of life are expected to attend the ceremony.
The retired Assistant Director General of Department of State Service (DSS) added the William James Foundation, a non-governmental organization, will also celebrate its 20th Anniversary on Friday, 21st July, 2023.
He announced that the ceremony will hold at Glory Land, Makutu Isanlu, Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The event will take place at 2pm, will also feature empowerment for widows in Isanlu and its environs.
Williams James Foundation was established in 20 years ago in memory of Late Mama Janet Aina Akanle, mother of Dr. Williams Akanle.
