The Coordinator, Kogi State chapter of Dr Sule Lamido. presidential campaign organization, Hon Isah Ameh has expressed optimism that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will takeover the mantle of leadership in Nigeria come 2019.
Hon Isah who spoke in Lokoja, through his Special Assistant on Media and Strategy, Abutu Daniel said with the wild jubilation, all over Nigeria and beyond, over the Supreme Court judgement in favor of the Makarfi led faction was an indication that Nigerians are tired and sick of All Progressives Congress (APC) led government especially with “their unfriendly and undemocratic policies which brought untold hardship on Nigerians”
“APC has plagued Nigeria with hunger, starvation and poverty since they took over the affairs of this country”, he said.
He also maintained that Nigerians are fed-up with excuses and blame game tactics of APC for the past two years.
Hon Isah thanked Nigerians, PDP members and supporters for their prayers and resilience during the trying period. He noted that Nigerians ordeal in the last two years has been traumatic, but also didactic.
He maintained that the victory recorded at the Supreme Court is for all Nigerians who has been at the receiving end of undemocratic policies and programs of APC in the last two years.
Hon Isah urged everyone to come together and work for a detribalised, democratic and people friendly Leader, Dr Sule Lamido as the next president of Nigeria come 2019 for a better Nigeria.
