It is no longer news that the three serving senators from Kogi state who are presently seeking reelection under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), have not only become too desperate to return to the Senate in the forthcoming general election but has turned the election into a do or die affair.
Following their denial of automatic ticket some days ago as a result of protests by some PDP youths forum under the auspices of The PDP Youths Revival’ Forum at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Report reaching us have it that the frustrated senators have resulted in another dubious tactics, which is aimed at disrupting the process and making sure the primary is abruptly stopped, as he has concluded plan with the leadership of the party’s top officials return his name as a declared winner of the supposed kangaroo primary according to his plan.
I want to use this medium to admonish the party leadership to use their tongue and count their teeth and go back to history on why we lost out even before the election in 2015.
Make the process free, fair and credible and allow the electorates to make their choice on who to give their mandate to.
