The Administrator of Igalamela-Odolu local government area, Hon. Patrick Onogu has donated a Toyota Picnic car to Ajaka Central Mosque. The donation was in fulfilment of the pledge he made earlier to the Muslims in the area.

According to the Administrator, “the donation of this vehicle is to fulfill the pledge I made to the Muslims earlier and to ease the movement and activities of Muslims in the local government”.

The vehicle was received on behalf of the Muslims by the Chief Imam of Ajaka Central Mosque, Alhaji Buniyaminu Haroon.

In his remark, Alhaji Buniyaminu thanked Hon Patrick Onogu for redeeming his pledge. He described Hon. Onogu as “a leader with a high sense of religious tolerance and a great unifier”.

He urged the Muslims in the area to continue to pray for more blessings upon the Administrator.

Similarly, the Chairman, Ajaka Muslim Council, Alhaji Sanni Ayikoye described the donation as “a noble contribution to the growth of Islam by a non-Muslim. A gesture I urge everyone to emulate irrespective of religious faith”.

Others who expressed their appreciation to the Administrator include the Director General, Igalamela-Odolu Bello-Onoja 2019 Campaign Council, Hon. Adama Musa Baba and Alhaji Shehu Asmao Sani.

The event was witnessed by Muslim elders, APC stakeholders and supporters.
