The management team of Osaseyi Foundation, on Thursday, presented a young female entrepreneur, Olowolagba Roseline Promise with aluminum equipment following her successful online application for sponsorship on the foundation’s website.
Led by Hon. Ibikunle Amodu Abubarka, the foundation presented a set of equipment to Miss Olowolagba at the palace of the Obaro of Kabba, His Royal Majesty Oba Solomon Owoniyi, who was delighted by the kind gesture shown to the beneficiary.
The equipment presented to Miss Olowolagba includes a power plus cutting machine, 1 Incco milli machine, and a drilling machine, up to the tune of 400,000 Naira.
Hon. Ibikunle Amodu Abubarka, while delivering a written statement from the CEO/Founder Osaseyi Foundation, Mr Richard Osaseyi, stated that Ms Promise was selected for empowerment in order to encourage her as a woman engaging in such skilled work.
Miss Olowolagba, who graduated from Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja where she bagged her Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration, acquired vocational skills in aluminum works after completing her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in 2016.
While presenting the items to the beneficiary, His Royal Majesty Oba Solomon Owoniyi appreciated Osaseyi for always extending his philanthropic acts to Kabba community, noting that the foundation previously facilitated a motorized borehole for the community months ago, and now empowering a young lady skilled in aluminum works with set of working tools.
Also, the Olu of Oke-Bukun His Royal Highness, Oba Timothy Ige Omonile, who was also present at the palace, eulogised the leadership of Osaseyi Foundation, and particularly the Chief Executive Officer/ Chairman, Mr Richard Osaseyi for his continual support to the underprivileged across board.
