I tuned my Television set to AIT at about 9 pm on Saturday as usual but, what greeted me on the station was unusual as Kogi state, to the best of my knowledge, has no slated governorship election.
At least, if what I saw was a normal media play on the psychology of the good people of Kogi state in diaspora, that would have been a different issue altogether… but why at this time?
Anyways, I thank the media crew of Yahaya Bello for their belated projection of an undoing super-impostor in the historic Lugard House. No matter how interesting this could be I am so sure it would not last on stage for another 100 hours, because this afternoon juggling has something in the offing.
He vehemently manipulated APC national working committee and the wife of President Buhari to ascend to the highest political office in Kogi state after the demise of the winner of both party primary election and the general election, Prince Abubakar Audu. But God’s own judgement is without appeal…
I watched, with dismay though, full of laughter as Kogi state is NOT Edo where September 28 is new election date…Hahahahahahaha!!! What has changed? I guess, Yahaya Bello quickly realised what his media crew has not been doing and decided to wake them from their slumbers to solicit sympathy and kind consideration… especially this time.
As for me, it is not about Yahaya Bello; not about late Prince Abubakar Audu; not even about Kogi state BUT, about NIGERIA as a nation and the spirit and letters of the constitution upon which democracy is operated.
September 20 (Tuesday) is the deal day! Only the Supreme Court of Nigeria seating in Abuja holds the ace.
Let the verdict of the masses of kogi state be upheld on the supreme sanctuary of justice.
