Who can save this country? The most populous black nation on earth is decaying. We’ve got vultures as leaders. We are been ruled by Potbelly Politicians and the younger generation keeps recycling them. The 9th most intelligent person in the world, is a Nigerian by the the name, Philip Emeagwali. If been an intellect can save us from this chaos, am sure he must have done his part.

Fela Anikulapo Kuti, was a messenger and he predicted most of the problems facing the country today in his songs. In one of his popular songs, “Beast Of No Nation”, he refers to Buhari as an animal in a madman’s body; in Nigerian Pidgin: “No be outside Buharideyee, nakrase man be dat, animal in krase man skin ii”. Yet most gullible Nigerians still voted the same man in 2015 and now, they are biting their tongues. So if songs could heal Nigeria, we once had Fela Kuti. Fela was jailed, humiliated, and eventually killed. That’s why I no longer blame 2Face Idibia for backing out of the February 2017 protest.

Prof. Wole Soyinka is the first African Nobel Prize winner for literature. He has written tons of poems describing the state of the country. He dedicated his youth days fighting for the stability of this country. He was jailed, humiliated, and exiled. But the story till remains the same. We are still singing the same old song.

Charly Boy was tear gassed at the unity fountain and mobbed by gullible crowd of ingrates at Wuse market, in Abuja. The 66 years old was fighting for the future of every young Nigerians who are too scared to speak up. It’s sad and pathetic that those fighting him were the same set of people he was fighting for. They just couldn’t get it.

It’s time for the youths to act and take what’s rightfully theirs. Let’s stop recycling the old Potbelly Politicians by voting for them. If all these people couldn’t change the change, who will? Nigeria is in desperate need of a hero. Be the hero. Download and listen to Beast of no Nation and let it change your mindset totally.
