The Onyi Ododo Forum, New Zango, in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State, has restated its unalloyed support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, as the group continues to hold regular meetings aimed at deepening grassroots mobilization for the party.
Speaking at the forum’s latest gathering, the Chairman of the Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Musari Salawu, commended the women leaders and entire membership of the group for their sustained efforts in rallying support for the APC across the area.
Mallam Musari urged members not to relent in their commitment to the party at both the national and local levels, assuring them that their reward would ultimately come from God. He expressed confidence that the forum would benefit immensely from the Ododo administration, and called on the Ida-Ovu community in New Zango to embrace unity, noting the numerous political blessings the area has enjoyed. He further urged the women of the community to emulate the kindness and humanitarian disposition of the Governor’s mother.
Also speaking, the Stakeholders’ Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Tijani, commended the massive turnout recorded at the meeting and announced the establishment of a new school in New Zango, where residents will be able to enrol for degree programmes.
The Youth Leader of the forum, Mallam Hadi Muhammed, lauded the Governor’s mother for her magnanimity towards the group and assured that the youth of the area would deliver total votes for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
In his remarks, the Treasurer of the Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Bello Ibrahim, spoke on the party’s strong grassroots structure, expressing optimism about the APC’s prospects in the forthcoming general elections. He urged all members of the forum to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and vote for the APC when the time comes.
The meeting, which drew a large turnout of members and community stakeholders, further underscored the forum’s continued alignment with the APC ahead of the 2027 polls.
